Kilkenny Castle

On Saturday morning, we went to Kilkenny town and Kilkenny castle.
We went with another group of Italian students, an English teacher from the school called Veronica acted as a guide and accompanied us to the castle where we had a tourist visit.

It’s a beautiful castle in Kilkenny, Ireland, and was built in 1195 by William Marshal. It was a symbol of Norman occupation and in its original thirteenth-century condition it would have formed an important element of the defences of the town with four large circular corner towers and a massive ditch, part of which can still be seen today on the Parade.

The bus drive took two hours; it’s far away for Dublin. We spent an hour visiting the town and looking for Richard’s umbrella.

Personally I liked the visit because the castle was very interesting and I love history.
I would recommend a visit to the castle and a visit to the town because it’s very beautiful and nice.
I think that it’s a great experience because you can pass a great day in this city.

Muchas gracias por tu aportacion Alejandro.
