"The National Museum is placed in Collin’s Barracks in Dublin 7.
The first thing you see when you come into the museum is an old but awesome military airplane.
When you begin the exhibition you can see the soldiers and weapons used in the medieval times. Some of them are presented on real life size models or sculptures. That’s the way to help you imagine the physical  appearance of the soldiers, across history from the early days to the Modern Era. You can also see soldiers from different parts of the world like America or France.

The most impressive part of the exhibition for me, was the place where you could learn more about the contemporary times. There were a lot of statues of dressed up soldiers from different places, each one with a vehicle which was used in his country or at war.
At the end you could dress up as a soldier an take photos for free!

For me it was a good experience during which you can find out about all the armies from various countries.

I enjoyed myself very much there!"
