KILKENNY CITY

Kilkenny, in irish Cill Chainnigh is a city located in south-east part of Ireland and the country town of County Kilkenny. It is on both banks of the River Nore in the province of Leinster. 
It has lots of historic buildings such as Kilkenny Castle, St.Canice's Cathedral and round tower, Rothe House, Shee Alms House, Black Abbey, St.Mary's Cathedral, Kilkenny Town Hall and Grace's Castle.

ST CANICE'S CATHEDRAL: 
Also known as Kilkenny Cathedral, present building dates from the 13th century and is the second logest cathedral in Ireland.

KILKENNY CASTLE:
Kilkenny Castle in Kilkenny city was the seat of the Butler family. The castle was sold to the local Castle Resortation Committee in the middle o the 20th century for 50£.
















OPINION: 
It is a small town. We had a great time there we ate and bought presents for our family. It's an enjoyable town
